Was listening to an interview with Ed O’Brien or Noel Gallagher or Edge or some other guitar gear interview and they commented on how surprisingly loud U2 is, alah it is The Who style loud, and part of it was because of Larry’s drumming style which is kind of funny because you wouldn’t expect it

It’s an acoustic U2 album! It’s better than imagined considering their past attempts at acoustic stuff and it’s not gonna overshadow the originals because of how integral the soundscapes of the originals are to the songs! However, SOS does show that they are well written songs!

There’s finally new music coming out?

Acoustic isn’t their strong suit... kind of boring outside of a few numbers. They should instead opt for full on wall of sound and extra synths and other players!

They should make some new songs and start putting them in car commercials! Do a co promotion with Tesla! Free U2 album for every Tesla purchased!

Shouldn’t they be cooking up a ton of music during the pandemic? Free time in abundance I would think.

They’re too old and too distracted by investments and chillaxation to put in the effort to make a great full album... also today’s marketing also demands more time and effort from musicians. They don’t want to do that to make that cultural impact they crave b/c they believed they earned it...

Actually Bono seemed pretty inspired through Innocence

The U2 engine which is The Edge and Bono just aren’t inspired, specifically Edge and they are lazy and distracted. Probably mostly distracted. Investment group and real estate.
