NLOTH Album Reviews - Professional / Web / Mag Reviews ONLY

Pitchfork is making its' ploy....anti-rolling stone. They're both wrong and they know it.....It's not a 4.2/10 album....It's not a *****/***** album......It's an album that can't really be judged for many years to come....an important chapter in a storied career.

NLOTH Album Reviews - Professional / Web / Mag Reviews ONLY

As far as I'm concerned, Pitchfork just jumped the shark. They've finally started to cannibalize. This reviewer is obviously a u2 lover...no one else could feel as betrayed or embarassed. But he has not allowed himself to become immersed in NLOTH. He has drowned himself in the media wave...

    Kraftwerk Influence

Yes. They were a huge influence on the "Berlin" Bowie albums that Eno produced. I think the influence is pretty strong here.

    Kraftwerk Influence

Anyone else hear a HUGE Kraftwerk influence on this album? It sounds to me like their neon lights cover really foreshadowed the overall feel of NLOTH. Especially in the Enoscapes and the group chant vocal sections.

When it Comes to Marketing/Promoting the New Album...Should U2

I think they should offer nothing for free, but donate 100% of all sales physical or digital to red or the one campaign, that would truly buck the system.

    Hidden Influences from Motown?

I think u2, as is any artist worth its' salt since the heyday of Motown, is highly influenced by Detroit City's sweet soulfull sound.
