Heck yeah I found another problem... in the latest version of iTunes for Mac (4.7) when I tried to listen to the 30-sec clip of "New York (live from farmclub.com)" it crashes the entire program without warning, 7 seconds into the clip. Other than that, so far so good.

Since when does the word "loud" end with an "errr" sound? It's "there" pronounced "tharrr" and I'm sticking to it. Yup. Definitely. Do these forums have a poll feature? I want to put it to a vote. Loud? (the word does make grammatical sense) or There? (the word that is actually being said.)...

The Valencia version is fantastic. I'm listening to it through Grado studio-quality headphones, and the way they've split the stereo is mindblowing. The clicky, scratchy guitar that leads us in is put only on the left channel, and then finally launches into both ears as Bono begins singing. As...

"Turn it up thar, Captain" It's silly and lighthearted. But I don't hear "loud" no matter how I try. I don't know where this came from, I'm listening to the CD-quality Valencia recording, through Grado studio headphones. I'm sure it's "Turn it up thar, Captain!" and I'd also bet $10 that's...

Based on every quote I've read of theirs... I don't think their intention is to reinvent themselves with this album at all. Achtung Baby was genre-transforming in it's transformation from all that came before it, and they don't need to do that. They don't thrive on the reinvention itself, but...

Amazing. I certainly can't categorize it, I'll have to see how it fits into the rest of the album. Reminds me a bit of a bastard love child between "The One Thing" by INXS and U2's own "Hold Me Thrill Me". I dunno. I do know it's going to be an incredibly fun album and tour.
