Well, that sucks. Thanks for the info.
I've been at a "phone free" show before but no one actually locked up my phone. I don't care about taking pictures or filming, my biggest concern is some sort of emergency event occurring and I can't access my phone.
I think she became more known for Motion Sickness simply because it was written about that trash bag. Based on the crowd's reaction at the show I saw (St. Louis) Kyoto feels far more popular now. I do agree that it was a surprising choice for an opener but I also wondered if she did it just to...
Amazing. The last time I saw her live was in 2012 but the most memorable show was in 2005, at House of Blues in Las Vegas. She was just incredible that night.
I'm doing well, thanks!
The link you posted to buy merch - has anyone heard of or used that company? It feels odd that she's never had a merch store before and her albums have always been difficult to get on vinyl. Some comments on the company's twitter feed aren't very promising, either.
The sudden announcement yesterday that Julien Baker would be joining them for the Q&A bummed me out.
If we had known about that ahead of time I would have chosen to go to New York instead of Los Angeles.
I'm really hoping she joins them in LA because I'm a huge fan of hers.
