Sorry...only looking for a Vegas1 GA or at this point a Vegas2 GA, since my friend got blanked in all of the presales/onsales for Vegas2. Three of us are hoping to do both Vegas shows, but ended up with only two GAs to each, so we're a ticket short for each show.

Looking to trade a Boston 1 or 2 GA for Vegas 1 GA. It's possible I may have an extra Vegas 2 GA after Monday's sale to trade for Vegas 1.

I think the only people who got the bands for this reason were those who bought the platinum ticket packages through whatever tour group that did the Hawaii show...the one that had the pre-concert luau party. I heard (second-hand) from someone who was there that it was only about 5-6 people...

But if the numbered bracelets aren't random, you'll have the same situation with people camping out for days to be first in line for those. The only way to really stop the camping for days is to either due a random lottery for all spots in line or to go back to reserved seating on the floor.

I'm not sure how many people got this offer. It seems they were either offered some sort of refund or the band for the ellipse. The rest of the bands where either VIPs or people reusing bands from the previous leg of the tour. Needless to say it was very crowded in there by the time U2 came on...

I was bummed about the merchandise situation too. Of course there wasn't much worth getting except that cool U2/PJ Hawaii poster. I'm more bummed that it's selling on ebay now for $300. I hope u2.com has it for sale in their shop soon to keep fans from getting raped by ebayers yet again...

Everyone who camped in line had a VIP wristband. Security used these to keep people from jumping in line and/or from taking off all day (they gave us two hours at a time). The actual "VIP" bands were the orange ones with slanted stripes that were used on the previous US leg of the tour. I heard...

Wow, this thread is big. Forgive me if these questions were already asked, but does anyone have a clue as to GA rules and the early parking and camping out situation at this stadium? I assume since it's a stadium show there'll be no lottery, but what's the deal with the pseudo-ellipse at stadium...

If you're answering the question with a sentence using 16 letters, then the obvious answer is: LET'S GO TO HONOLULU! or TO HONOLULU, HAWAII! What makes you think there's 16 letters though instead of 14...one for each day of the contest? 14 letters would obviously just be HONOLULU, HAWAII.

I forgot this performance took place at the Superdome in New Orleans. How eerily ironic that the location of U2's tribute to the victims of 9/11 turned out to be ground-zero for another horrific tragedy.

I read some of the reviews on u2tours for last night's show and they mentioned that she was spitting on the audience during her set. Weird.

I don't have a kid, but I think the number of parents using their kid as a "ploy" to get in the ellipse is slim at best. There are far more fans sharing and reusing wristbands and in some cases bribing their way in the ellipse. Kids being "used" is a non-issue as far as I'm concerned. Besides...
