Agreed. I don't think it gets enough love to be honest.
It's one of their best songs from the last decade and a personal favourite of mine. Haunting and beautiful, especially the single version.

I really hope seeing U2 playing ES next tour as they always include some old songs live. It´s an amazing and beautiful song. One of my favorite and I´m sure it will work live

Yeah, saw them play it in August. They actually used it to open their set, which was a bit odd, and perhaps even more strange was that Fake Bono added a snippet of Don't Cry For Me Argentina, but they still played the song really well. If four Aussie blokes in a pub can do it and sound good, it should be piss-easy for U2 to pull it out.

That line doesn't bother me cos I always hear it as (and sing it as) "heavy as a drug". Electrical Storm is one of the best songs this decade. Definitely deserves to be played live!
