where should i begin? help!

I would consider u2 to be background music to my life, being born in 1980...and even tho i've owned various u2 cds for the past 10 years I never considered myself a fan until the beginning of this year.

so now that i am completely addicted to u2, where do i begin? what must i have? what must i see? best bootlegs, mp3s, etc must i hear?!

i'm sure this has been asked a million times, but id appreciate your help! i've been trying to avoid becoming a full fledged obsessed fan and collector (mainly cuz i can't afford it!) but... i can't deny it any longer lol.

I'm not the one to ask about bootlegs and MP's, all I can say is keep your eye out for mentions on threads to sites where people have MP3s set up. U2LA has a great site for this. You may have heard of underabloodredsky, that is supposed to have everything.

I never have seen a list of recommended or "best of" MP3's, course there's lots. Can anyone provide one?

I would recommend you get the Achtung Baby Video, that's my favorite
