You could call it: "All That Was left Behind..."

I almost think Electrical Storm (the original version -- not the William Orbit version) would have fit really well on The Bomb.

I don't own several of them :( - Love You Like Mad, Native Son, Smile, Flower Child and Levitate. I don't have Xanax and Wine either, but how similar is that to Fast Cars? I've heard it's fairly similar.

Loving the All That Was Left Behind idea starvinmarvin...

Yup, Electrical Storm would fit nicely on Atomic Bomb somewhere.

it's not similar besides the lyrics in the verses.
the verse lyrics are identical.
the music is way different, totally different guitar
Xanax has a cool solo, a great raw riff, and the guitar in the chorus is awesome.
the chorus in each song is totally different
there is a great melody hook in X&W's chorus, and it ends with the falsetto Bono singing "Xanax and Wine"

Xanax has a much much better chorus, IMO.

I love Xanax and Wine, I think if it were on Bomb it would among my top 3 tracks. When I listen to Fast Cars it just sounds like a novelty song formed by gutting Xanax and Wine. Maybe they wanted to change the music, but to totally change the chorus is a travesty. It would have been a great live song on this tour.

I like the eastern sounding guiitar in Fast Cars, and I think the lyrics in both song verses are really cool.
I mean the song is pretty cool, if I had never heard X&W I would like it even more.
