What do you say are U2's most famous (not best) songs of all time?

I think the top 10 are (not in any order):

4) Where the Streets Have No Name
5) I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
6) With or Without You

I would add Mysterious Ways to that list and perhaps New Years Day... that was the first song I ever heard by them.

AIWIY has not been mentioned yet. I think that is one of the most popular, at least among the ladies.

I think 'One' will probably go as their most favorite song. It's like that bon jovi "it's my life" the one they play EVERYWHERE. U2 appearences='One' almost always. I'd say next is probably with or without you or beautiful day. the former because it's their most well known single off TJT i would assume, and the latter because it's like their revival song, so to speak, the one that put them back into a huge spotlight and everyone listened to. If i had my way though, the last song they ever play live would be Streets

U2=Streets, and thats teh actual and teh factual, imo

i'd say the most famous would be beautiful day and then vertigo

everyone i talk to about U2 has heard those 2 songs...then a bit of the others

My brother couldn't count 8 songs
(when Vertigo was released so it's 7)

1.Beautiful day
2.One
3.With or without you
4.Elevation
5.New year's day
6.Vertigo
7.Staring at the sun

I would add
8.Mysterious ways
9.Stuck in a moment
10.The Sweetest thing

I would have to go with I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. U2 doesn't have one of those songs that EVERYONE knows. My parents were asking me what U2's most famous song was and the ones that they recongnize were:

I Still Haven't...
Beautiful Day
Mysterious Ways
Desire
One

Definitely WOWY, but Beautiful Day, One and Vertigo are very famous too.

No order:

Pride (everyone knows its for MLK)
Where the Streets Have no Name (If they know this in Africa)
Sunday Bloody Sunday
New Years Day (played every new years day)
With or Without You (thinks its a love song)
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
Beautiful Day (pop this is where the new fans come in)
Vertigo (Who doesn't know uno, dos, tres, catorce?)
Mysterious Ways (heard all over radio)
One (so fitting after 9/11)
