1. read the lyrics
2. listen to the song
3. post your thoughts

------------------------------------

It's cold outside
It gets so hot in here
And the boys and girls collide
To The music in my ear

Hear the children crying
And I know it's time to go
I hear the children crying
Take me home

A painted face
And I know we haven't long
We thought that we had the answers
It was the questions we had wrong

Hear the children crying
And I know it's time to go
I hear the children crying
Take me home

Say so, say so
Say so, say so

La lah la lah...La lah la lah...La lah lah...
[Repeat 4x]

Say so, say so
Say so, say so

Call out your name
Call out in shame
Call out your name
Call out
You better call out
Call, call, call out

One of their best pre-War songs....maybe even THE best......usually the highlight for me when I listen to those early bootlegs. Unfortunately, it's another single that still has yet to be released on a U2 album, although we did get a live version on Under A Blood Red Sky.

Defintly one of their best early songs! They should start playing it live again.

its in my top FIVE all time favorite U2 songs, it captures the intensity and urgency of U2 during this era...and The Edge, man he would light the arena on fire with this thing it would just ECHO man...the first 2 or 3 times I saw U2 they would open with that song as 4th of July from UF would blast through the speakers and then youd see their shadows shuffle on stage and then BOOM, that GUITAR...aaah dies and goes back to 1984/1985....

ok sorry thats almost off topic isnt it?
