I'll have to do this track-by-track...I'm going to include ACT and ITH as one track since they are played together and also because it makes it an even 10 against 10.

I Will Follow < Sunday Bloody Sunday
Twilight < Seconds
ACD/ITH < New Year's Day
Out Of Control < Like A Song
Stories For Boys < Drowning Man
The Ocean < The Refugee
A Day Without Me > Two Hearts Beat As One
Another Time Another Place > Red Light
The Electric Co. < Surrender
Shadows And Tall Trees > "40"

War 7
Boy 3

So, War.

Of course, I could've said War based soley on the fact that it has NYD, and that Boy doesn't

You stole my idea:mad:

Anyways i like war more too.

War 9, Boy 1

Tough, but I say War.

I'd like to add that I have only heard IWF and OOC off Boy, but it's the next album I'm getting.

okay, song by song...

War 6, Boy 4.

Pop wins!

Boy over war...close one though
out of control, electrico, i will follow, an cat dubh/into the heart are collectively better than 40, new years day, and sunday bloody sunday...although nyd is in my top 5 favorite u2 songs (btw, out of control isnt far behind imo)

Can I make a bold, daring statement? I think AtomicBono likes Pop...:reject:

There is no need to worry. You'll hear about it alright.

hopefully we'll get a whole thread about it :hyper:

Well you got one for Achtung Baby, and The Joshua Tree...I hope these reviews aren't annoying people.

And yes, you can help me choose. Heck, you can even send me the money to buy and album if you really want to. You do? That's so nice of you. You'll probably need to send an extra 100 dollars though. Just for me to make sure you are a nice person.

Yes, I am very bored.

Fuck about, yes.

Sunday Bloody Sunday = Anthemic yes. But boring.

New Year's Day = Legendary, better than anything on Boy.

Drowning Man = Awful, just awful. Probably one of the worst songs U2 have recorded.

Like A Song = Overdone, and musically boring.

Surrender = Pffft.. nothing there, a boring riff and some terrible singing by Bono.

40 = I'm in a small group that thinks the album version is better than any live version, prefection.

Seconds is alright, Red Light and The Refugee I think are underrated but still not up to scratch. I love Two Hearts however, it is one of my favourites.

War is by far the worst album U2 have recorded.

I don't mean to flog a dead horse with the Coldplay comparisons but I feel it applies here.

X & Y is Coldplays most sonically boring and contrived album, yet has been insanely popular and looks more successful than their previous two masterpieces.

You can be as patronising as you want and I appreciate the success of War. I don't dislike the album completely but I think it is sickly to listen to on the whole. Give me the variety and flow of Boy anyday. As a complete album I think Boy is probably their fith best album. I can't think of an album worse than War, except maybe How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb, though that is easier to listen to.

Absolutely DAMN right about New Year's Day !! :applaud:

Drowning Man is such an emotionally mysterious song !!
I love this song ... the emotion alone in Bono's vocals make me want to cry because it's so-ooo heartfelt !!
