PLEASE VOTE FOR YOUR LEAST FAVOURITE SONG!

The loser of the last round was When I Look At The World.

Voting Results:
32 - When I Look At The World
28 - Peace On Earth
23 - Wild Honey
9 - New York
2 - In A Little While
1 - Kite

Total votes = 95

Already Eliminated From All That You Can't Leave Behind:
2. When I Look At The World
1. Grace

Final Qualifiers:
Boy - The Electric Co.
October - Tomorrow
War - Like A Song ...
The Unforgettable Fire - Promenade
The Joshua Tree - Running To Stand Still
Rattle And Hum - Heartland
Achtung Baby - Zoo Station
Zooropa - Zooropa
Pop - Do You Feel Loved

How to play: Each album will have a series of rounds of voting. In an album's first round, all non-singles from the album will be listed and you vote for the song you think is the WORST. The song with the most votes is eliminated. This continues through the subsequent rounds until we are left with just one song from each album. These victorious songs proceed to the final, which will be conducted in the same manner until just one song is left, which you can consider to be the Best Non-Single or Least Objectionable Non-Single, depending upon your perspective.

If there's a draw, for most rounds, both songs are eliminated. If there's only 2 or 3 songs left, I'll leave the poll open for another day, when there'll hopefully be a decisive outcome.

If I'm honest, I don't believe the result of the previous round was legitimate. The late surge in voting for WILATW - it more than doubled its votes in the last few hours! - was suspicious to say the least. Based on the general opinion that rules on this forum, I find it absolutely remarkable that Wild Honey or Peace On Earth were not eliminated in the last round. Plus, the voting figures are rather above average - I suspect 95 may be our record.

So yes, I believe some people were using alters to fix the result of the last round. I can't prove it, of course, but I definitely am suspicious.

Ah well, I'll just keep hoping that finally some people will join with me and vote off In A Little While.

I can't believe WILATW was voted off at all, let alone that it was the FIRST one voted off for ATYCLB.

One of the few legitimately sonically interesting U2 songs of this decade and you people go and vote if off first.

One of the few U2 songs of this decade where Bono's lyrics, consistant through the whole song, are on par with his past lyrical work, and you people go and vote it off first.

And did I mention

Grace actually went first; WILATW was second. But otherwise, I agree. People want Bono to be aggressive politically? Well, if you ask me, WILATW is a more politically/social-commentarily aggressive song than ANYTHING from the nineties. In terms of open aggression anyway.

So instead of getting your hive of bees to all vote, you resort to alters? :tsk:

Ack! I meant to vote for Wild Honey, but when I went to click on the "Vote" button I accidentally voted for New York by mistake. Can anyone please change my vote? Thanks! :reject:

When I look at the World was voted out unbelievable

Wild Honey again

I hope Peace On Earth lasts I love that song

what the hell happened....i went to bed like 8 hours agoa dn when i look at the world had like 15-18 votes and peace on earth and wild honey had 23 or 24 each....i cant believe these results, it didnt deserve to go, and axver must be right with people using alters abd voting more than once

Wild Honey had way more votes than any other last time I checked. When I Look At The World just might have been the best song on the list

Peace on earth :madspit:

Duude, that tune was the last one to enter my brain before I "left the club." For this reason alone, it deserves to live another round.

Peace
