Shinin' On by Grand Funk Railroad

Heard this song the other day and it reminded me of how much I miss the lost art of true jamming. By true jamming, I mean everyone knows how to play their instrument, all the instrumentation blends into a nice stew and the timing of it all is in perfect synch. Look up Shinin' On if you don't know what I'm talking about. I know we have alot of art rock fans (i.e. Radiohead and Pink Floyd) around here, but I was wondering if there's any jamming song appreciators around?

I am old enough to have bought this album when it first was released.

It came with 3D glasses, so the cover would have that 3D effect. (This was back in the days of vinyl, with the large LP covers.)

I haven't thought about that record in years and years and years...! I don't think these observations meet the point of your thread, but I just felt compelled to share!

I would much rather listen to "Locomotion" ... as that is Grand Funk Railroad's true classic song !!
