Shinin' On by Grand Funk Railroad
Heard this song the other day and it reminded me of how much I miss the lost art of true jamming. By true jamming, I mean everyone knows how to play their instrument, all the instrumentation blends into a nice stew and the timing of it all is in perfect synch. Look up Shinin' On if you don't know what I'm talking about. I know we have alot of art rock fans (i.e. Radiohead and Pink Floyd) around here, but I was wondering if there's any jamming song appreciators around?

I am old enough to have bought this album when it first was released.

I haven't thought about that record in years and years and years...! I don't think these observations meet the point of your thread, but I just felt compelled to share! |

I would much rather listen to "Locomotion" ... as that is Grand Funk Railroad's true classic song !!
