I think it's from the Meteor Ireland awards from 2003, but I'm not positive.

the ones you posted of the band have only been posted before in tiny little thumbnail size pictures. I've never seen them in big size before!!!!!

I just looked on getty images....I guess it pays to type in U2 instead of just U2 The Edge like I normally do

They are from the Ivor Novello awards May 2003. There's tons of pictures too

Yeah, I missed those before too :lol:

They were all taken by a photographer named Dave Benett and although they're from last year, they were only added to gettyimages on April 1st.

If you click on the "more search options" link, at the bottom of the page you can search by the date the picture was added to gettys collection - I guess some older pictures don't get added at the time they're actually taken.
