Another question about meeting the band...

What hotel chain do they usually book with???
We are going to the Austin TX show, anyone has an idea where they might be staying in Texas?
I think MrsEdge had answered a similar question in another thread, but I don't remember which one it was.
We are just trying to plan our trip and "activities" in advance. Any tips and advice is welcome!

that's what I'd heard too, but I am trying to cover all my bases. So much planning to do, thank God the show is in November, it gives me some time!

Hi gals - I heard the Four Seasons or the Hyatt is where they typically stay..

Anyone know where I can get one without going broke in the process!!!

If I KNEW I would meet the guys before or after the show, I might drive down if only for that, but right now, without a ticket, I'm having second thoughts of even goign at all...unless someone gives me a really COMPELLING reason to do so!!!

I've also heard they stay in Four Seasons, but when they came to Seattle, apparently they stayed at the Westin.

How do I know this? My dad's friend works at a tea shop downtown. A man came in one day, and asked for a specific kind of Irish tea. (He looked like he was in a hurry). So the lady asked him why he was in such a rush. He said he worked at the Westin, and it was for a band from England or Ireland or something. She asked if it was U2, and he said he wasn't supposed to tell, but yes. So she wrote Bono a note, and gave them the tea for free.

So Four Seasons or Westin? They probably don't stick to one hotel.

well I discovered, reading "willie's diary" on U2.com, that they (I dont know if it's the band or only the crew!) always go Buena Notte on St.Laurent Street after the show, which is a famous restaurant in Montreal... so check it out for your town!
