Interferencers Jim and Barry A. have written in to let us know that U2 is featured on the cover of NME's special Christmas issue with the following information:

*100 page NME Xmas special-issue dated 25th Dec 2004 to 1st Jan 2005 is now on sale "U2 kick off NME'S rock 'n' roll Xmas party!" Price: £2.50.

*Bono is shown opening a bottle of champagne & there is a three page U2 interview inside - "2004 - The Gospel according to U2" where U2 review the year for NME. This interview took place the same day as the BBC session/performance at HQ.

*Part 2 of this interview will appear in the next issue on sale January 5th 2005 and promises: "The real reason U2 are not doing Glastonbury and whey they're the indiest band in the history of the world."
