The necklace from my former love clutches my pale neck
Death travels through beauty to this lonely little speck

Walking through a haze, my body dragging along
Will he attempt a rescue with his pretty little song?

Gray winds lick my hair and push me to the ground
My knees hit the grass, my heart makes no sound

A messy accident slipping down through the cracks
The draining of my blood will help me relax

I've been dead for so long, let's just make it official
The happiness I try to build is purely superficial

I have so many issues that I'm offering subscriptions
Issues that cannot be fixed by all these prescriptions

I was a fool to think that love and music could save
They are just mixing the light that will shine on my grave
