her tears fall like broken glass
as i try and collect her fragments,
i notice that i am bleeding
her shards plunge, penetrating my apathy
my blood is spilled, melting the glass fragments
her tears splash and swirl, i am lost in the storm surge
as i am washed away her smile thickens
