"umbrellas + scars"

under your skirt
the umbrella of dawn
the hidden rays
of a hot breeze
as the world slips thru,
to a silky freeze,

a trembling tease...

it burns like glue
and nothing ever feels new,
the skin, untouched
yet stained and untrue

in the flesh of humanity
on the thresh of insanity

he fills her, with
hopes, flames
the rope of shame

she gathers up her flesh...

to close these curtains
to put shadow to the sun
to break and spill
to sparkle and stun
in her space among the stars

she hopes that heaven won't wait
and settles for some sweetness
on a blanket of swollen clouds

~
I know I know, it's cluttered and falls apart in places, but I'm sick of trying to re-write it, so I leave it here to be done with it!

Call me a day tripper, but how much of your stuff has 2 meanings? I read it, and think, is it this or that? I think thats what I like, it may be a reader end thing, but that way I can make up my own mind what its about.

Confusion. Har, wanna teach me to write?

btw, I thought that was great

2 things??? I'm not sure if it's about anything!!

yes, I do try to write with some level of ambiguity, but sometimes it's an accident -- this is why I normally resist commenting on what what my poems are about

thank you for your kind words AH

I've always been partial to poems that have some rhyme in them. I really like how this one flows.

Good stuff.

I really like that part...
