Give us this day to proclaim
regal and somber
joyous the rightfulness in heaven
his namesake.

An abundance upon earth he left behind
with the love and the spirit
to the guidance of wisdom for
those who believed
in a power much greater
than the wealth of gold
a humble belonging to those
wanting hope and foregiveness.

Give us this day to remember
the dignity of life
personified in goodness
servitude to the world’s children
by teaching values of learning . . .
the right from the wrong.

Never a pedestal so tall that
the small could not reach
and touch out to feel
the heart full of Love.

Give us this day to mourn
to immortalize in time.
