I just read the following article on the website for 102.1, a Toronto radio station:
U2 Meets 3D
Mar, 20 2007 - 11:10 AM
"U2 is taking things to a new level with their upcoming concert film. Variety reports that the feature was shot entirely in 3D. Production company 3ality Digital previewed a portion of the concert, with Bono and the boys playing “Sunday Bloody Sunday,” during the ShoWest Convention in Las Vegas. The flick, titled U2 3D, was shot during the band’s South American tour and is said to be the first live-action film shot, posted and exhibited utilizing 3D technology. U2 3D will reportedly play in 3D-capable theatres, like IMAX, and could premiere by the end of the year."
