I remember hearing that albums typically get released at the end of a year, perhaps for marketing purposes or something. But then we got NLOTH in spring of 2009, and they were touring the summer of the same year.

I'm sure their timeline is being heavily dictated by the need to be out of the pandemic before going on the road.

Is one of those two options - early or late 2023 - more likely (or conducive to touring) than the other?

https://www.msgsphere.com/ this this and more of this

It got delayed at the perfect time and now seems to be completed sometime in 2023. This is a venue that is about as advanced as what a 30th anniversary of Zoo TV deserves. Why not open this thing with either a live concert (then tour like mad) or just play Sydney Zoo TV there on the anniversary of the broadcast.

Zoo TVs gone indoors and its not only the BIGGEST SCREEN it’s a whole new show Zoo TV Inside Broadcast…… Zoo TV with all new stations

or

U2’s Zoo TV returns – reprogrammed for inside broadcast – where rock and roll, high tech and trash collide!

Make it happen!

“Adele is doing a Vegas residency as her entire tour! So we need to be there. Rock needs to be there. That’s relevance for us.” - Bono to band after a call with Jim Dolan

Holy shit, it's been 4 years!

A little late to the thread, but I stumbled upon something on FB where Adam is quoted as saying they're working on an album to be released in 2023. Then a World Tour to follow. Apologies if it's already been mentioned. I'm lazy and don't wanna read any previous pages. I guess take that shit with some salt.

Right. Breaking news. I saw a pic of Adam with longer hair and he looked great! So there's that too.
