My turn off

- display of lack of intelligence...as in I was out this girl and some other guys...and when we had to pay bills....and we have currency in multiples of 25...and we had 13 such currencies..and when this girl totalled them..it was 500 something  ...ABSOLUTE turn-off... if you dont know..dont display...thats fine with me..

- talking a lot and talking loud.. i dont mind talking a lot...but talking big about themselves, bragging, showing-off with talk....is a BIG TURN-OFF..HOwever I dont mind girls showing off body :sexywink:

- loudly religious ... one day this girl wanted us all to realise..how great her religion was...and what their religion had done for humanity....all 100% bulls*** ...well I am polite enough not to tell her that whatever she had told was bulls***

- physically - how do I tell  .. If it is too small , its a slight turnoff  you know what I mean ..dont you :sexywink:

stupidity
barbie behaviour, pretentious etc.
bitchy (playing with it is fun, but not fe real)
boring
fake boobs
physically, I adore slim figure + long hair

Arrogance and judgementalness (is that even a word?) is my #1 turnoff (i guess thats two things, so they are my #1 and #2 turnoffs (this is way too short of a post to have this many parenthesises (what the hell is the plural form of parenthesis?)))

rudeness
meanspiritedness
arrogance
frat boy mentality, especially when they're way too old to be a frat boy
insensitivity, lack of kindness
lack of personal hygiene
no sense of humor
selfishness/ self-absorbed
obsessed w/ their looks

arrogant
a man who can only stare at your chest
very concerned about their appearance
think they are better than others
a biggot, racist, homophobic person

When I go out to dinner with a guy, I am very turned off if he is very snotty and rude to the staff at the restaurant. I also don't like "foodies" who send their food back until it is just right. I also don't like lousy tippers. Those things just say so much about a guy. I was on a date with a guy who was rude to the waitress, bitched about the food, and was only going to leave a dollar tip. I was mortified by his behavior. Especially since he was so rude, I definitely wanted him to leave more than usual...and a dollar most certainly wasn't enough. I gave him the evil eye, and he kept laying down more dollar bills until I finally stopped glaring at him. Once we left, he tried to abduct me...so...my theory is right.

Over-ambitious girls are a BIG no no for me.

So, what type of woman do you like exactly. Everything seems to put you off. I see nothing wrong with anyone being as ambitious as they please, just as long as they don't lose sight of whats important

so that would mean

- anyone who is intelligent OR if she is not intelligent , she shouldnt display it in public to make a fool of herself

- anyone who talk a lot or talk less...if she talks a lot..it shouldnt involve show-off...my dad is this..my car is this..my hair is that...blah blah.

- anyone midly religious or atheist or agnostic or if she is very religious..she shouldnt list that benefits of being religious... all the time.

- anyone who doesnt have fake boobs or very small "toe nails" :sexywink: and heightwise comes to my shoulder atleast..

Is this OK

I'm just riffing here, but isn't it perhaps a bit silly, or even dangerous, to start listing what you find attractive or unattractive in the gender to which you happen to be attracted?

Let me lay out two big caveats here:

1.) It's definitely good to know what you find attractive in terms of values, ethics, and behavior. Certainly abusive behavior, for example, is always unacceptable. And certainly you want to find someone with whom your life goals are compatible--e.g. if you want to have kids, don't marry someone who doesn't want to be a parent.

2.) I know I've done similar things before; that is, list physical characteristics I find attractive in (in my case) men. But I've started to think that it bothers me that I ever did this, and it bothers me that people do it at all. I know that no one will find every single person attractive, and there are some traits that "do it" more than others for certain people. But if someone had said, for example, that she'd only be attracted to guys with blonde hair, she might have "screened out" non-blonde guys, and thus missed out on guys who might have been perfect for her otherwise.

I guess what I'm saying here, Acro..., is that I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss girls with "small toenails" or girls who might not be as small as you'd like. There are more important characteristics to a person, and if you dismiss all small-toenailed comers, you could really be missing out.

pax,

if you see, most of the turnoffs are behavioural ...and only at last I have added couple of physical traits...which are turnoffs but not as severe as the others..

no wonder - i know quite know and like few girls...but ..they are all just friends..although I am turned off by something or the other...I dont show them ( guess it would be rude :) )

I know what you mean. I guess I'd direct what I was saying not just toward you, but toward people in general.
