That's like preferring U2's version of Paint it Black.

except that u2's version of paint it black sucks.

or was that your point?

Yep. And one song is just impossible. Some music magazine just made a list of Dylan's 100 Best Songs and even then there wasn't a single bad song in that list.

As for my favourites, here are a few:
- Tangled Up In Blue (The Bootleg Series' version with Bob's buttons from his denim jacket rattling on the guitar)
- Like A Rolling Stone
- Ballad Of A Thin Man
- Desolation Row
- Most Of The Time
- Love Sick
- Rainy Day Women Nos. 12 & 35
- The Times They Are A-Changin'
- If Not For You (again The Bootleg Series' version)
- Positively 4th Street

And then there are lots of other songs I haven't even heard properly (bought the Biograph boxset just a few weeks ago).

And yes IWB, that was exactly lazarus' point.
If it isn't, I'll repeat his post as it would be mine (except that I don't think the version by The Rolling Stones sucks, but it isn't as good as the Dylan original either).

:)
