What Would Your Dream U2 Album Be?
This thread is probably going to give some of you migraines. I'm just starting to get one right now. But I think it will be a really great way to pass the time until the new album hits, and should also provide some great conversation fodder.
If you had to create the 'perfect' U2 album, using all of the tracks from their studio albums (and the Best Ofs, just in case you want to use the promotional singles) to form one monster 12-track U2 LP, which tracks would you use, and in what order would you place the songs?
All the better if you explain your choices and why you put them in the order that you did!
Good luck, everyone! I'll be posting my own answer in a bit. I've just got to think about it for a while.

P.S. - Just to clarify: you may only choose songs from their studio albums and from the two Best Ofs (A sides). That means no B-side tracks, no live tracks, and no tracks that didn't appear on studio albums ('Night and Day', for instance). Only studio cuts and 'The Sweetest Thing' and 'Electrical Storm'. No - you may not choose 'The Hands That Built America', as it was made specifically for a movie.
