Where to stay in Houston and Dallas

Any suggestion where to stay in this cities...near the venue?perhaps...mm...where the band is staying?

In Houston, the nicest hotel in downtown is also right next to the Toyota Center: the Hilton Americas hotel. It was built specifically for the Super Bowl and its where a lot of the celebs stayed that week. There's tons of other hotels in downtown Houston: the Magnolia, Hyatt Regency, and the Doubletree are all nice.

Dallas has the ZaZa Hotel where Metallica and Jessica Simpson stayed at. They will probably be staying there.

I'll probably be staying at the Marriott Courtyard Suites within walking distance to the arena.

Dallas downtown location is 2 blocks from American Airlines Center. It is very nice and not expensive.

I used to live in Houston...if you don't mind a little drive, there are some very nice (and not expensive) hotels in Clear Lake, which is about 20 minutes southeast of downtown. You would then take I-45 into downtown, toward the Toyota Center.
