this song is still in the top 30 here in UK this week it is at no 27. I make that 8 weeks in the top 30! i do not have any figures but this must be one of u2's longest stints in the UK singles chart with one song?

Is there anyone here with any figures to say which u2 single has stayed in the top 40 for the longest?

Wow... Vertigo is certainly showing itself to be a stayer. This is great, however let's hope that it doesn't overwhelm Sometimes in the UK, and All Because of You in America.
