I think the USA already lost. With a daily debth growing a 3 billion dollars a day and china finance it for more than 60%, China will own the USA soon.

The same thing was said about Japan 20 years ago. The Japanese ended up owning a lot of overpriced real estate which was later sold at a great loss.
