probably because they haven't had a chance to rehearse any more that that with all TV and Radio appearances they've been doing.

U2 seems to always give the studio audience more than the network wants to air. Remember them not showing the fourth song on SNL a few years ago? Unfortunately, the networks aren't flexible enough to show the teevee viewers more U2 magnificence.
