hey everyone.
as you may or may not know, i'm a first-year arts student at Dalhousie University. my goal after my undergrad degree is to go to medical school.
my thing is this: i want to go into either trauma surgery or sports medicine.
so my thought the other day was that maybe i should transfer into the BSc(Kinesiology) program. i know for a fact that it'd definitely help me get a job in sports medicine, and it'd better prepare me for med school. and if i change my mind and go into trauma surgery, it'll help anyways.
but if i do this and transfer, that means i more or less need to start all over again, and add an extra year to my undergrad program to make up the courses i've missed. all 4 of my courses can transfer but they're all used as electives.
so do you think it's worth it? it's a big commitment, and i've been throwing it back and forth in my mind for the past while trying to decide.
i just want you guys' opinions.
