I am thinking of joining the U2 fan club. I was just wondering what benefits i would get if i joined, especially for ticket access next time they come around (hopefully stadiums next summer in Chicago!).

also, is it really worth the $40 price tag?

Basically, you get a CD of songs that are already on the DVD releases, access to streaming music/videos, forum access, and a discount to the u2.com shop.

In the email that went out to current subscribers a little while ago they said they won't be offering anything further for ticket access.

There will not be any ticket guarantees as part of the re-subscription package.
