satellites and lemons
gone up unto the heavens
on earth their masters remained
in earnest rightousness
through shades of black yellow green and purple
with a lack of sleeves
a need for a cigarette
and a face like a razor blade
as they took responsibility
and stood their ground
they lead us by the hand
and held us in their arms
having had heavy TVs
and cocktali sticks
remembering the fire

they enchanted us with wayward rants
