That is going to be an unbelievable three week streak. My last final is on May 5th. I get to celebrate finishing freshmen year with kickass new albums.

Underrated.

Got an email today saying THE NASH! will be on Jimmy Fallon Wednesday night. This ought to be our first non-YouTubes glimpse of new material.

I actually hope they play something old just so the album is an entirely new experience for me.

Yeah, I kinda feel the same way. I typically try to avoid all the Youtube clips of "new song performed at some show" for bands I like.

It'll be about 1:25ET/12:25CT when they actually go on. Just to be safe, I'll probably tune in five minutes early, but I hope to avoid as much Fallon as I can.

Also, they said they're doing something special on the album's site after the performance. Keep that in mind.

I tried to watch online what I originally thought was the live broadcast, and turned out to be last night's episode. And holy shit, his monologue is worse than Jay Leno's. The material's equally as bad, but he has the worst delivery I've ever seen and he can't help but laugh at everything he says.

Anyway, I don't own a television, so I'll have to wander downstairs and watch this in the living room.

Wow, what a far cry from the last two.

(Deleted song titles since Peefer did it more thoroughly.)

Opening track too? It's huge. Fuck yes. Loved it.

its a terrible love, and i'm walking with spiders
its a terrible love and i'm walking in
its a terrible love and i'm walking with spiders
its a terrible love and i'm walking in

it's quiet company
it's quiet company
it's quiet company

and i can't fall asleep
without a little
little help
it takes a while to settle down
my shiver bones
until the panic's out

it takes an ocean not to break
it takes an ocean not to break
it takes an ocean not to break

it's quiet company
it's quiet company
it's quiet company

but i won't follow you
into the rabbit hole
i said i would
but then i saw
your shiver bones
they didn't want
me to

it's a terrible love and i'm walking with spiders
its a terrible love and i'm walking in
its a terrible love and i'm walking with spiders
its a terrible love and i'm walking in

it takes an ocean not to break
it takes an ocean not to break
it takes an ocean not to break

I actually thought of how jealous I was of you midway through it. Good to see Matt going ballistic toward the end. One god damn hell of a performance right there.

Apparently they're going to put up a web exclusive performance of "Blood Buzz, OH" on the Late Night site at some point. Sick.
