tattoos and tattooists

im thinkin of goin into tattoing as a career,but every tattooist ive seen is male,middle aged with a beard and multi coured skin,and im just a little 19 year old girl with a few tattoos,anyway does anyone know where on the net i could get some info about qualifications etc

Go to Tower Records and buy every single tat mag you find. They are always full of ads, advice, studios, and supply info. That would be a good start. Go down to the shop where you got your own tats and talk to those middle-aged guys. They had to start somewhere, and first hand live information beats anonymous internet info every time.
