I know we're still a few good weeks away from it being over, but I figure this thread could survive a while. Hopefully. Or it could be page five in a few days. Who knows.

Jot down what you acheived in 2007, what you didn't acheive, what you want to acheive in 2008, whatever. :) Go ahead!

- Got drunk for the first time. Was one of the best nights I've had.
- Got my first kiss (though due to circumstances I don't really count it).
- Worked out some of my problems, and, as a result, I have been happier. These problems affect me nowhere near as much as they used to.
- Made my highest score in cricket.
- Was awarded the captain's award for season 2006/07.
- Took my first catch.
- Had my first cigarette. (I don't smoke, though I've had a few).
- Explored more music, namely Pink Floyd, David Bowie and The Beatles.
- Passed theology!
- Saw my confidence reach higher levels than ever before.
and
- Felt pretty damn good at myself, not all the time, but more often. :)
- Quit my job that I'd held for 14 months (after blowing up a $2000 car wash, taking a crucial key away for the weekend, and a few other mistakes).
- Got a new job as a shitkicker with tradesmen.

Vent! Vent!

became evil overlord at work and the bosses new plaything

lost a crap load of weight

cut my hair properly for the first time in 20 years

rode a bike for the first time in 15 years

joined interference !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yippie:

pissed more money away than i ever thought was possible.

hmmm yep another year wasted.

Um, I'll get back to you on that. I mean, there's still a few weeks left, right? I'll try to accomplish something in that time. I finished school last year and was just completely disillusioned this year. I had an offer for a course in theology, but declined. I needed a break.

Not really big achievements - just things I did this year:

- Started driving (at 18 :reject: )
- Finished a short course in life (model) drawing
- Became fascinated with Islam (and actually, quite a lot of religions other than Christianity and Judaism)
- Legal drinking... and too much of it (yet not enough?)
- Some stupid decisions
- Managed to live through the shittiest year for the West Coast Eagles ever as a huge fan
- Lost track of time a lot
- Started appreciating pre mid '30s music, movies and cartoons more
- Got some positive replies from a few artists and companies - the biggest being Penguin books :hyper:
- Started living in the city
- Bought a trumpet. I need a teacher.

Ah well, I'll get back on track next year.

- Started eating better, 9lbs lighter so far.

And the best thing to happen in 2007 was getting engaged.

- Got my driver's license (and a car :yippie: )
- Got a holiday job (which I got to keep and now it's a parttime job next to my study)
- Passed my first year of university without flunking any courses
- Started my second year of university with having made the right decision for a major
- Started eating healthier and lost some weight
- Started to pay serious attention again to two of my biggest hobbies - singing and music
- Got to say goodbye to my grandmother the way I wanted to, even though I thought I couldn't at first
- Got to think even more positively about stuff and life, and didn't worry too much about things no one really should be worrying about period
- Got more confidence in myself
- Started living more and feeling alive :)
