besides foray and johnny swallow (both very secretive), the song is a mystery, is there no studio version of this with U2 featuring Bono? I'm not putting down Roy Orbison, but I like Bono's singing, tell me i am wrong and there's a studio version

also, according to womanfish.com there's a version of myself which Bono sings vocals on, but I've never seen it available

Yes they recorded versions of The Wanderer with both Cash and Bono vocals...the Bono vocal version should make the box set I think...as for a studio version of shes a mystery to me ill have a look.

mmmm the recording isnt great, really does sound like a 'studio bootleg'
