I appreciate the support so so much I'm sad, but the huge knot in my stomach is gone since I made the decision. Evie's still here, we're just eating spoonfuls of peanut butter together and she's resting comfortably. We'll be going to the vet in the morning. She sends tons of sloppy kisses to everyone
kaf and Evie, so sorry to hear the final dcision. You know Evie understands. Hold her and love her until the last breath. I Feel your pain and all of us wish you well.
I understand you so well I had a dog and had to "make the desicion" in fact our vet told us we had too it is horrible because you love them like they were your kids
Just wanted to say I'm thinking of you a lot, Kaf. We went through the same thing with our pup a year and a half ago, and if you need anything, I'm just a PM away.
So we went to the vet today with my wobbly little girl. I decided to have her checked out by a specialist to see if they could make any determinations one way or the other. If they can't tell me anything, I'll have a lot more peace of mind letting her go. We'll hopefully have some answers in the morning
Ugh. :trauma:
Pls start a Interference fundraiser so I can pay my bills..
Quick update: Spoke to the specialist yesterday. She said without diagnostic testing($$$), the only other option would be to try meds to target a number of possible causes. They put her on a steroid and an antibiotic to bring down any possible inflammation. If that doesn't work, we're out of (practical and humane)options Wish my baby luck..
