Are any of you Red Sox fans?

Not really since I live in Illinois....and plus...our state has the White Sox...a suckier version of the Red Sox. And finally, I'm more of a Cubs fan.....but I haven't watch a game in a while cause of a couple of reasons (Work and my mom commanding the TV from 6-7am until 9-10pm)

Yea...the Sox are getting better this year...but I think they suck...I went to a game a couple of years ago...and I was bored to tears.

I was rooting for the Cubs two years ago when they made it to the NCLS....but the whole Bartman thing threw the Cubs out of a loop...

But I hope that both teams will win a Worlds Series sooner or later....hey if the Red Soxs won one last year....anything can happen...

Not a big fan of Hockey...but I came close to going to a Chicago Blackhawk game when I was in 6th grade...but it was a Sunday and my mom wouldn't allow it at the time.

(So basically the first time I went to the United Center was the May 13th show of the Elevation Tour)

Haven't watch Basketball since the Bulls won their last Championship.

I'm also not a big fan of Soccer (European Football) or any other type of sport....

Hey again DG....I'm also amazed too...and I live near Chicago! Our baseball teams need another world series badly!!!! Our Teams haven't won one since the early 1900's! (not including games like the 19something WS that the Sox's sorta fixed).

I love hockey, I've been playing since i was little.
I got to check! It was sweet. But now I'm moving from the Co-ed(only 2 other girls in the whole league) to all girls leagues. No more checking.
Wow, Im going to have a lot of penalty minutes.

Actually, Chicago has waited longer than Boston did. The last time the Cubs won was 1908 and I think the White Sox won it in 1917.

The wait is unbearable.....

But at least there's a reason why the Cubs haven't won since 1908...there really isn't one for the White Soxs really...that I know of.

No...my city has waited longer....and even though our teams collectively haven't played the World Series since the late 40's/early 50's.....we have to sit through the pain of waiting to get another WS title.

Yea....someone decided to bring a Billy Goat into Wrigley Field for the 1945 World Series.....but was turned away....so that's why the Cubs have the curse....it's more stupid that Babe Ruth curse really....but it's a curse anyways.

Something to do with a former owner or something I think... if I knew where my Baseball Hall of Shame book was I'd be able to look it up *g*

Toronto's been waiting for a Stanley Cup since 1967 - not as long as Boston or Chicago for a World Series, but in hockey-mad TO, the wait's been intermidable... especially when they make it to at least the second round of playoffs every year...

(I hate the maple leafs) Funny thing is i love the Senators. All because the Caps traded Peter Bondra away to them. (he was the soul of the capitals)
