I live like 30 miles from downtown Minneapolis. Like where EVERY club is, like the one Prince popularized, First Avenue. Well, you see, sula got some tickets to go to see lovely Pete at First Ave. Oh wait! I'm still a fookin youngin'. My age (17) OBVIOUSLY states that I cannot enjoy quality music.

And don't even get me started on U2. Maybe next time they roll through South Dakota (aka when HELL FREEZES OVER AND FEATURES FLYING PIGS) I can get the fourth row tickets I gave up last year.....*crawls off into a dark hole and dies*

If you like Pete Yorn, you should listen to Neil Halstead. He's a little bit mellower, but very, very good.

Pete Yorn was amazing last night! Ali Rose and I were up front against the railing in front of the bass player...just a few yards away from Mr. Yorn himself.

Yum. And we met him briefly afterwards and he's a total sweetie. Too short for me tho. *sigh*

In any case, great show, great artist...everyone go see him. You'll be glad you did.
