So I went a little crazy at Best Buy yesterday :uhoh:...

Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand
Interpol - Turn On the Bright Lights
Modest Mouse - Good News for People Who Love Bad News
Muse - Absolution
The Music - The Music
Bubba Sparxxx - Deliverance

Modest Mouse was only $7.99, Franz was $8.99, and The Music was $9.99. I just couldn't pass 'em up. :D

I was tempted to get Jay-Z's Black Album but didn't. As soon as I got in the car, his new song was on the radio and I was incredibly tempted to turn the car around...

and
Part 2

and ordered

Bright Eyes-Lifted or The Story is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground

Crowded House - Together Alone

It cost the huge sum of ?1.99...

A great album. It's in competition with Woodface as Crowded House's best album. It may even have the edge, considering that is has Private Universe.

Today, I was in Amsterdam and found the following:
O.S.T. - Gangs Of New York
League Of XO Gentlemen - The Big Copout (single)

I also bought the BP Fallon book about U2: Faraway, So Close!

I should have gone to the used CD store, Tower is getting expensive.

 yay, frames!!

give the silver spring store another week to fill up since i last cleaned it out, then i think a trip is in order...

There was again a small record fair here in town. I browsed the stands and this is what I came home with:

INXS - Welcome To Wherever You Are
Nathalie Imbruglia - Left Of The Middle
Joan Osborne - Relish (these three were 10 euros in total)
Pavarotti & Friends - Together For The Children Of Bosnia (this is the one with Bono & The Edge and contains Miss Sarajevo! :hyper: )
SUF Band - Onvergetelijk (this is a CD the band of my student assiciation made some years ago. Even though I already have the album, I couldn't let it suffer the indifference it had to endure in that stand. Will probably give it away to someone who can appreciate it)

And I'm still expecting Elvis Costello - Armed Forces (2CD reissue) this week...

:reject:

Today I got Armed Forces by Elvis Costello & The Attractions in the mail. Another brilliant album by him. Plus it has a bonus disc, extensive liner notes and the lyrics to the songs! :hyper:

46664 Concert DVD
Jerky Boys Greatest Hits
Rubyhorse "Goodbye To All That"
Tom Petty Playback Box Set (couldn't resist the price!)

in vancouver I got:

Lhasa - La Llorona
Seafood - When Do We Start Fighting...
Erlend Oye - DJ Kicks
Billy Bragg and Wilco - Mermaid Avenue
Weezer - Blue Album (I lost my old one)
Calexico - Scapers (A tour only CD)
Iron and Wine - Our Endless Numbered Days
Royal City - Little Heart's Ease
