A certain mofo sent me some CDs for Christmas, and I just received them when I got home yesterday (I was out of town). Cannot wait to listen to them!

Dntel - Life Is Full of Possibilities
Lamb - Best Kept Secrets: The Best of Lamb, 1996-2004

EP, I'm glad you got Interpol. I listened to it twice yesterday. One of the best albums of the year, imho. It will be high on my list. And I'm hopefully going to pick up Lifeblood today! :hyper:

The Cure - 'Three Imaginary Boys: Expanded and Remastered' (2 CD set)

Picked this up while doing some very last minute Christmas shopping, it's great.

For Christmas I got these c.d.s: ;)

1. Joe 90-A Raccons's Lunch
2. The Bigger Lovers-How I Learned To Stop Worrying
3. Fastball-Keep Your Wig On
4. Oleander-Shrinking The Blob
5. The Clash-London Calling
6. Everclear-White Thrash Hell
7. Collective Soul-Youth
8. Oasis-(What's The Story?) Morning Glory
9. Anberlin-Black Prints For The Market (I think it is)

^

I like every song on it. Even 'Emily', which most people don't seem to like. 'Cardiff Afterlife' I didn't like at first because it had a crappy chorus but it grew on me (especially the harmonica). Also dig 'Solitude Sometimes Is' a lot these days.

By the way, that certain mofo never sends me any CDs. :(

Yertle,

We're going to look for it at Virgin Megastore here. HLG will be in town tomorrow. They had a few copies the last time I was there, I'm hoping they still do. We'll let you know.

Thanks for the offer, yertle. :) Virgin Megastore is pretty good about stocking imports. I'll let you know how it goes--if we can't find it there, I may have to take you up on that!

I did jump into the cheap disc department

The Smiths - Singles ( best of )
Gang of four - a brief history of the twentieth century ( best of )
The Cure - Disintegration
TC Matic - Yé Yé

First, here are the $1.99 singles that I too bought:

Radiohead - 'There There'
The Music - 'Getaway'
The Music - 'The Truth Is No Words'
DJ Tiesto - '643 (Love's On Fire)'

Second, full albums:

DJ Tiesto - 'Magic Six: Live in Amsterdam'
Slowdive - 'Souvlaki'
American Music Club - 'Love Songs for Patriots'
Blackstar (Mos Def & Talib Kweli) - self-titled
De La Soul - 'Timeless: The Singles Collection'
Bjork - 'Post'

HG and I should just have our salaries from work directly deposited into a CD store's bank account. Which CD store though.....
