UPDATE- on dazzedbylight's Dad...
they UNEXPECTEDLY by our estimate....sent our Dad in today to the hospital..... i think they caught my sis off guard too, b/c she didn't alert me on Fri or yesterday. we're in closer contact than usual {we keep generally good contact with each other}
The only reason I knew earlier in the afternoon was because they couldn't reach her.....so the admitter on the floor asked me the questions.
WHich at least i was able to answer some.
We didn't expect him to even go in TILL tomorrow or Tues...or so
The pre-surgery procedure he's having is more complex than i thot .
they inject radioactive dye and CT angioplan....the dye will track his whole circulatory system they see any blockages, and get a muchmore detailed look at the anuerism.
then they decide from that -- whether he can have the s
----- i got logged out/off-----------------
decide if he can have the surgery.....
I ran up there later, after i had to jump on the phone for a whole bunch of stuff. I'm really annoyed that most of my day/eve was messed up b/c I had planned to do a bunch of stuff today that I felt i needed/some had to get done before he went in. and i only got a little done before I got the "suprise" call.
At least I saw him, and was able to give one of the doctors on the surgery team more info. SO at least I felt useful, so to speak.
I DO have some bit of strong hope. I'm NOT totally thinking he's not going to make it. But that is a really real possibility too...so
we'll see........
