Love Affair (Beatty/Bening)

Carek - what did you think about Must Love Dogs. I wasn't impressed...

Must Love Dogs was ok...I wasn't too impressed wither, but I love John Cusack  so I'll see any and all of his movies whether good or bad. I kept wondering thru the movie why Diane Lane seems to play the same kind of roles....the divorced wife, the unhappy wife....hmmmmm...and it seemed like it was too long too. Then suddenly it ends. So no, it doesn't get but a 2 star from me!

yeah - the suddenly ends where you are waiting for something to finally happen and ...nothing...I have seen several movies with Cusack as well (Serendipity, Runaway Jury,...)

Berlin--Ecke Schonhauser (Klein, 1957)

Caligula (Brass, 1977)

Nobody Knows (Kore-eda, 2004)

eXistenZ (Cronenberg, 1999)

Brokeback Mountain

I found it incredibly moving and sad. And Heath Ledger... wow. I always like it when an actor surprises me and I'd never suspect he had this sort of incredible performance in him,  Gorgeous cinematography, too.
