I'm going to miss this thread! *clings*

It was so great to meet so many of you!

i appricate your comments on this one. out of curiosity what were ur thoughts on night 2?

I didn't think they were as technically on per se, and the not quite as magical..until, of course, shine like stars during WOWY...and Ultraviolet

Where I was might have had something to do with it also..not as spirited as in the pit!

It was a great night, also.

It was hard to be as spirited in the stands, because that thing was shaking and swaying with even the slightest movement! I had to lean the back of one leg against the bench and plant the other on the riser in front of me to keep my balance at times. People were still very into the show though, they just couldn't jump around!

Hey Gvox. Sorry you weren't in the pit or where you wanted to be.

Even if not technically on, the emotion of this show was something to treasure. I will absolutely be making a point of coming to a Montreal U2 show again. U2 thrives on audiences like this.:hyper: I thrive on U2 like this:love:

Moncton Ya'll.. Please be even 1% as good as Montreal!!!!

Second night I was way in the back(And I mean BACK, way behind soundboard!) with a lot of people that have never seen them before. It was amazing how many of them knew Stay and Zooropa by heart!

Have to admit, you guys party like Europe. :D

The pit in Montreal was insane! I don't think I have ever seen a pit that crazy myself, and it was probably the craziest I have gone at a show. The Montreal crowd"s energy is unbelieveable!

That being said, I can't judge how the rest of the stadium was, but for night 1, I did turn around and look at the crowd and the stands seemed into it, but the people around me, not so much. I was on the floor near the left Claw leg!

Here are some photos from the Old Dublin pub meet on 7th July in Montreal. IUt was wonderful to meet a lot of you guys and a shame I didn't catch up with some people but maybe at Moncton if you guys are trekking up there!!

I met quite a few people so tag yourself in the photos if you can so I can put faces to names.

Should we start a "let's do Montreal all over again someday" thread? :grouphug:

Today will be my first normal day since last weekend...I am actually really looking forward to it!

I only wish it had been last summer because we had scheduled more time in Montreal then for the original concert dates.

I cannot wait to return. I told a few locals that I'd like to come in winter, too. Then, I reminded them that we were from Minneapolis, so a Quebecois winter isn't so terrible.

Y'all should visit Quebec City, too. It has even more of an old world Europe feel than Montreal does. It's beautiful in the summer and winter but, if you choose to go in the winter, make sure you visit during the annual Carnival festival.

Yes!
Audrie (standing next to us) at Montreal 1 insisted that we should visit Quebec City when we return.

Quebec is a beautiful town. Really seems like Disneyland, but everything is real. I'd love to see it in winter.

Make sure you bundle up in the winter. I hear it is "tres frois" (very cold) up there during carnival time.

Nice pictures! you're the one who was talking about Glasto. I remember all the faces but few of the names, let alone interference names. I'm red head in pink.

Ah. Hey.Yeah that;s me. You got persuaded to do both nights in Montreal if I remember rightly!!!! Good to meet you briefly. According to Cathal (me & U2 Author) Montreal had the most travelling fans from everywhere to be at the concerts so it was impossible to meet everyone unless we did like a speed dating sort of thing ;) My name's Brendan by the way.

I can watch you eat sushi. I'll stick with something not fish :p Ooooh. Steak sounds good.

I want to karaoke with you anytime!
