I am so excited to finally be able to post.

Heh.. anyway, been a U2 fan for close to a year, gone to 6 U2 concerts this year and one more next month -- and a rabid fan.

I started reading posts here a few days ago -- mainly in PLEBA -- and realized you people are in EXACTLY the same mindset as me.

So.. anything in particular I should know about besides basic rules?

1.) You've been to 6 concerts?! Dear God! I colored my toes to look like the members of U2, and I haven't even been to 1! *sob*

MacPhistoe was supposed to have a gold shirt. My toe is NOT bleeding, thank you. Wow, my foot is ginormous!

Well.. I'm 13. Yes yes yes I know I'm young, blah blah blah. ^_^ I started liking Beautiful Day last November, and really started to like them without owning any CD by March, and when I went to my first U2 concert on May 1st I was addicted.

I listened to my only album, Achtung Baby, for a month and a half, then got All That You Can't Leave Behind and Best Of, and now I have all the albums.

I love them to death.

Well, I am so glad you're here Ari.... I'm 15 so we're pretty close in age.

I was raised in U2 by my parents, ever since I was born (I used to run around my house singing Sunday Bloody Sunday like Bono at the Red Rocks).... and my parents took me to ZooTv twice, PopMart & Elevation Tour.... except everyone knows I couldn't go last night (still pissed but c'est la vie)......

Anyways, I'm gonna help WildHonee and I'm watching out for you (Don't worry, there is no hazing or initiation around here)... But we're all pretty friendly and age doesn't matter or anything....

You may be a little disturbed or confused at first, but you'll fit right in.... You obviously have the love for the band that we all do, so just keep posting and I'll be looking out for you...... Adios, PLEBA amiga!

Thank you. ^^ I have had so many people be surprised that am not a NSync, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, or some other horrible singer/band fan. (Nothing against their fans of course, but personally I greatly dislike all of them.) It's terrible being judged like that sometimes.

Lucky you! My mom has been a fan since The Unforgettable Fire came out, and loves them as much as I do, but when I was growing up she never played any U2, or really any music -- and never took me to concerts, either, even though she went to ZooTV. Oh well.
