Does anyone here belong to the WIRE mailing list?? I don't, but I read that the following was posted last month.......

The "private party" U2 was scheduled for this month (so they couldn't play the Olympics), was in fact an engagement party for Adam!?!?!?
Part of me feels like this is a load of crap, but I would believe it if it was true.
I don't remember it being discussed here, so if it has, forgive me.

He can't get married! Well, it wouldn't be very nice of us to wish him a life of bachelorhood... so, yay for Adam! She's probably an amazing woman. Still sad, though.

I've followed Adam for years, and if this rumor is true, it breaks my heart, but like anyone else Adam deserves to be happy, I hope he finally found what he was looking for.

Umm... that private party... weren't they playing it? Why would Adam provide entertainment for his own party? That doesn't make sense.

I don't belong to WIRE, but I've heard that 95% of the rumours they throw around are crap. I won't believe it until I see pictures of the wedding.

We ADAM girls tend to over-react to this kind of stuff! i know when it happens, it will take ALOT of getting used to...Adam has always been the bachelor type, personally I don't think he is the marrying type, but maybe settling down with someone....sometime in the future, like Larry.

I read this on wire and I thought of you poor Adam girls. I hope that isn't true. I also thought "Why would he play at his own party?", but then I remembered that Sting played at his own wedding. The police had a small reunion.

I hate Wire. It is driving me crazy. I get about 200 messages a day. Who has time to read them all?
