How far are you gonna go, before you DESCRIBE your way back home?

the thing about that bass is the dark fingerboard. i saw a much nicer one at guitar center, fender jazz bass all natural :drool: and it was only $300:ohmy:

^^ with maple fretboards, the tone is brighter, punchier, as opposed to rosewood fretboards, which have a darker tone. it's hard to explain the difference in the sound without actually playing the two different necks. either way the Jazz Bass necks are the easiest to play -- Adam has them installed on most of his basses (even the ones that aren't fender)
