I took my 10 year old son to see the movie since he loves Star Wars, he is too much like his mom.
He loved the Obi-Wan/General Grievious battle. First words out of his mouth when Grievious had 4 light sabers was 'AWESOME'.
The one part he did close his eyes for was of course the part when Anakin catches on fire and starts to burn.
I guess that would look cool to a 10 year old boy. And that was sad when Anakin started to burn, poor thing, I felt sorry for him even though he had turned to the dark side. I guess that would upset a kid who had been into the first 2 movies and really liked Anakin.
Other than that he loved the movie and hasn't stop talking about
it. I wanted him to see a Star Wars movie up on the big screen, it's a totally different thing than on a tv.
It was nice being able to take my oldest to see it, just like my parents did my brother and I when the first one came out in '77.
I saw Star Wars in '77 too when I was a kid. I took my oldest to see this one, I don't think the younger ones would have behaved long enough. But they'll see it when I buy the video!
