ONE love, blood, life
Just want to say I had a nice time enjoying watching Danno and his band perform on stage last week.
Being in a band trying to emulate one of the world's best bands is quite a daunting task. To put it in perspective most of us mere- mortals get jittery attempting to sing Bono during Karoke.
Now contrast that with trying to mirror U2 on stage. A very big feat.
Unimaginable.
Danno and his band come close though. Danno is a working man's Bono. He comes close to hitting every key note that the early Bono used to and for the record Bono can't hit his own previous high notes as Bono's voice has changed. So he does a decent good job there.
Where Danno excels though is once loose and into his set he will mimic the Bono gestures and poses. He thinks he's Super Bono and leaps from the stage and into the crowd. This kinda shocks the happen chance viewer and wows the avid U2 fan watching the show. If I had a cape I would give it to him.
Where Danno lacks only very slightly in one area he far exceeds in others. The fans love it and he works a room quite well.
The best song of the night for me as a long time fan was Running To Stand Still. (RTSS) Danno hit all the notes and Gredge was excellent on the guitar.
WOWY was good and
Vertigo kicked major ass. Danno was in his element there.
I loved after the show the band, their spouses and entourage were affable and approachable.
Some cover bands take themselves a bit too seriously
If any other attendees of a USA Elevation show want to chime in please by all means do so.

In closing on a scale of 1-10 I rank this show a strong 8.
