Does anyone ever think of U2 during a non-U2 song?

Everytime I hear Third Eye Blind's "jumper" I think of "Sunday Bloody Sunday" If you listen to the drums, you know what I mean.

Also Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl" makes me think of

blue eyed boy meets a brown eyed girl oh, the Sweetest Thing

It's a U2 song, but "angel in devil's shoes!" (AOH) makes me think of MacPhisto.

"What you don't have you don't need it now. What you don't know you can feel it somehow." -U2-

Whenever I hear "Brown -Eyed Girl", I think of "Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses", 'cause of all the "sha la las".......

And there's think one guitar riff in the Limp Bizkit song "Rearranged" that just reminds me of U2 in general.... it just sounds like a riff the Edge would play.... I don't really like Limp but I will listen to that song 'cause it reminds me of U2

I always think of 'The Fly' when I hear INXS's 'Need you Tonight'- similar beat I think.
And yeah any song with a 'Sha La' in it, and I am in 'Daddy's Gonna Pay for Your Crashed Car'
In all honesty I am not fussy, more or less any other song with one or two of the same words and it is enough,

on VH1 classic (channel 134

) they play that INXS video all the time

Mona: Ooh! It's that guy from Inkses! (lol I insist on syaing it that way)
Brother #3: It's 'in excess'
Mona: Inkses, what?

The singer guy is quite a tamale, if you ask me

Oh yeah!
There's a part of the lyrics in Led Zeppelin's "The Battle of Evermore" that says ...'down in the valley below'.
Of course I relate this to the 'running scared in the valley below' of "Bullet the Blue Sky".

Immediatly I forget about the Led Zep song ans start singing (or howling?

)the Bullet the Blue Sky song...

ok, i'm not sure if this counts, but parts of the song "what's going on?"(all-star tribute) sounds like the beginning of and background of "Some Days are Better Than Others"

don't you think?

not sure if it counts cuz they're both kinda U2.

Not sure of when, cant remember quite clearly - but he committed suicide. That's where the song Stuck in a Moment came from - more often than not Bono dedicated it to him at the shows - "HUTCH!"
